Your Brick House Bones® Purchase May Be HSA/FSA Eligible!
Investing in stronger bones may be easier than you think.
If you’ve been diagnosed with osteoporosis or osteopenia, your HSA or FSA may reimburse you for the cost of your Brick House Bones® exercise program or membership.
Exercise isn’t just an “extra” when it comes to your bone health. Building strength, improving balance, working on posture, maintaining power, and learning how to move safely are all important pieces of building a stronger, more capable body.
That’s exactly why I created Brick House Bones!
And now, you may be able to use dollars you’ve already set aside for healthcare toward the programs you’re using to build stronger bones.
Even better? We’ve partnered with Flex to make the process easier than ever.
Eligibility is determined individually and is not guaranteed.

How It Works
Step 1: Contact Your HSA/FSA Administrator
Let them know you’ve been diagnosed with osteoporosis or osteopenia and ask whether your Brick House Bones® exercise program or membership may qualify for reimbursement.
They’ll tell you what documentation is required, which may include a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN).
Step 2: Get a Letter of Medical Necessity (If Needed)
We’ve partnered with Flex to make this step easy!
Complete a quick, chat-based consultation with a licensed medical provider. If you’re eligible, Flex will provide a Letter of Medical Necessity that you can submit with your Brick House Bones purchase receipt.
The consultation costs $15 and is itself HSA/FSA eligible, subject to your plan’s requirements.

Step 3: Submit for Reimbursement
Submit your required documentation and Brick House Bones® receipt to your HSA/FSA administrator for review and potential reimbursement.
What About Past Brick House Bones® Purchases?

Already purchased a program or membership? You may still have options!
If you had an osteoporosis or osteopenia diagnosis at the time of your purchase, contact your HSA/FSA administrator to ask whether that expense may qualify for reimbursement and what documentation they require.
You may also be able to request a Letter of Medical Necessity from the healthcare provider who manages your bone health.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Letter of Medical Necessity?
A Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is documentation from a licensed healthcare provider explaining why a particular product or service is medically necessary for your individual health needs.
Do I need to have an osteoporosis diagnosis to qualify?
Eligibility depends on your individual health circumstances and the healthcare provider’s assessment. Completing the Flex consultation is one easy way to find out whether you qualify.
Can I use my HSA/FSA card at checkout?
The process outlined here uses reimbursement. You’ll purchase your program and submit the required documentation to your HSA/FSA administrator. Direct HSA/FSA card payments are not guaranteed.
Is approval guaranteed?
No. Letters of Medical Necessity are issued only when medically appropriate, and final reimbursement is subject to your HSA/FSA administrator’s rules and approval.
What if I already purchased a program?
Depending on your plan’s requirements, you may be able to submit a qualifying previous purchase for reimbursement. Check with your HSA/FSA administrator about documentation and timing requirements.
